1) Have Healthy Meals

2) Drink Plenty of Water

Most people don’t manage to do this. As you get older, you often feel less thirsty, and the body feels dehydrated quickly. To achieve your daily water intake, it is a good idea to have set times during the day. There is no need to go to the gym to work up a sweat, half an hour of moderate exercise a day is enough to stay fit. This can, for example, be half an hour of brisk walking at a speed of 5-6 km per hour, but you can, of course, also cycle for a while. If you notice that your heart rate increases and you have to breathe faster, that’s good!
4) Keep Social Contacts
Apart from physical fitness, mental fitness is also vital to maintain. As you get older, you may have fewer contacts and find it challenging to find new people, especially with the current coronavirus measures. Luckily there are contact websites for older people where you can find people you know. It is also possible to make new social contacts and new friends. Surround yourself with people who make you happy, because laughter keeps you fit and young!
5) Get a Pet
Having a pet will keep you happy and healthy, especially when you can hug it extensively from time to time. Dogs or cats can be great fur friends, but you can, of course, also opt for rabbits or any other pet you prefer so long as they give you renewed energy every day. You will also feel more motivated to get out in the fresh air with a pet, and you might even exercise a bit while doing so.
